Following is the latest news regarding the Unarmed Combat Certification Grading taken from theSingapore Taekwondo Federation website, Posted by their SECadmin on 2007/7/30 18:00:27. ** Please note that LSMAFC adminstrator cannot be hold responsible for the accuracy of this news update as this is a news item taken from an external website. 34 participants successfully completed the 6-hour unarmed combat course held on 14, 15, 21 and 22 July 2007. The course was conducted by Mr Tan Kim Hoon and assisted by Mr Lim Keng Leong (Chairman, Martial Arts Committee) and Mr Tan Cheng Hui (Member, Martial Arts Committee) Said Mr Chin Khee Shin (Senior Examiner) who tested the candidates: “Considering the number of hours put in by the participants, I am impressed with their standards. They certainly learned fast. And they demonstrated it during the test.” Mr. Lim added: “That was not all. The participants also impressed us with their discipline. They understood the seriousness of the training. There was no horsing around. What’s more, they followed our instructions carefully and made sure that they got the movements right.” Mr Milan Kwee (STF President) who was at one of the sessions shared his experiences and observations with the participants. He urged them to practice hard and wished them success in their test. The following candidates (including 11 who were trained at Liang Seng Martial Arts and Fitness Centre) were awarded the Unarmed Combat (Level 1) certification.
